The fund is one of five strategic investment funds that are set to inject $100 million worth of new capital into the Solana ecosystem. The ecosystem is composed of a community of projects and apps that were built on the blockchain founded by former Qualcomm, Intel, and Dropbox engineers.

Touchstone Partners has announced the first close of its inaugural $50 million venture capital fund. The fund is backed by New York-based Pavilion Capital, Vulcan Capital, and several other investors and family offices. 

Since establishment in 2014, Openspace Ventures has invested in 33 companies across verticals including logistics, FinTech, AgriTech, EdTech, HealthTech, CleanTech, and B2B SaaS. One of the firm’s earlier investments includes Indonesian unicorn Gojek.

Targeting to invest in around 40 companies, the fund intends to focus on tech-enabled B2B or B2B2C startups in their pre-Series A to Series A round of funding with an average investment of $500,000 per startup.

Founded in 2014 by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and former Bain executive Raj Ganguly, the firm has mostly invested in companies in enterprise technology, FinTech, HealthTech, consumer enablement technology, transportation, and logistics industries in their Series B to C round of funding.

With four years of investments, AddVentures aims to scale its operations as it selected Prakit as its Managing Director. He has led AddVenture’s effort to lead and scale since January 2021. Prakit brings in his experience in logistics, packaging, chemicals, construction materials after leading SCG’s Zero-To-One and DeepTech Innovation. 

The multilateral's $100M fund aims to address the lack of late-stage funding for impact projects. The fund will concentrate on investing in companies in their Series B stage of funding for scaling and expansion. 

Singaporean growth equity firm Asia Partners has closed its inaugural fund, Asia Partners I LP, at $384 million. This is the largest debut technology fund that will focus on investments in growth-stage startups in Southeast Asia.

With its Fund III, AppWorks is now stocking up on marketing securities to make more investments in sectors such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, and decentralized finance.
