Five Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) have on Friday executed share subscription agreements (SSAs) to take up 70 percent equity stakes in Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), a special-purpose vehicle company set up by Malaysian government to drive the development of the 5G (fifth-generation) infrastructure in the country.

Malaysia-based FinTech firm Boost has partnered mobile service provider CelcomDigi to launch global prepaid card on the Mastercard network. The prepaid card which is called the Beyond Card is the first two-in-one international card in Malaysia, enabling customers to access funds from Boost wallet balance and utilize a pre-approved credit line.

Malaysian mobile service provider CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) and energy infrastructure and technology company Yinson Holdings Berhad (Yinson) have inked deal to partner in the development of innovative electric vehicle (EV) services and infrastructure for Malaysian consumers, driving EV and green energy adoption in the country.
