- First close of fund only holds about one-third of the target
- Aimed at entire Southeast Asia
- Generally invests in mature startups, with early-stage investments for Indonesia
- Singapore-based private equity firm also has an office in Jakarta, Indonesia
- Along with spinoff Openspace Ventures, its portfolio in the region includes Gojek, Redmart, Zimplistic, Indomaret
Sovereign’s Capital
- $60 million for early-stage startups in Indonesia
- Typically invests $250,000 to $2 million
- Silicon Valley VC outfit has an office in Jakarta
- Portfolio in region includes Grab, Bridestory, Xendit
