The GBA Tour 2025 is set to take place in several dynamic cities including Macao, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other cities in the GBA region from May 26-28, 2025.

During the networking event, Dr. Gang Lu, Founder of TechNode Group and Co-founder of BEYOND Expo, presented some of the BEYOND Expo 2024’s highlights. He also captivated the audience with an insightful look ahead, shedding light on the exciting prospects attendees can expect at the upcoming 2025 edition.

Marking its 5th edition, BEYOND Expo will take place from May 21-24, 2025, in Macao, welcoming global innovators to connect, collaborate, and thrive.

The panelists shared their views on the most promising sectors in Southeast Asia, the future development of the tech ecosystem, among others. These investors also shared their views on several issues related to the tech ecosystem in Southeast Asia from a foreign investor's and a regional investor's point of view.

The panelists, from corporate venture capital, venture capital firm and venture builder, shared their views on the criteria and support needed to build a conducive tech ecosystem.

“Southeast Asia: The Bright Spot For VC Investing Amidst Global Uncertainties?” was a panel that featured Thomas G. Tsao of Gobi Partners, Roderick Purwana of East Ventures and Angela Toy of Golden Gate Ventures, moderated by James Kwan, Founder & Executive Chairman, Jumpstart Media at the ORIGIN: Asia Tech Conference. ​​
