East Ventures, a sector-agnostic venture capital firm in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, has announced Sang Han as a Partner for East Ventures South Korea fund.
East Ventures said in a statement on Thursday that Sang will leverage his extensive experience to manage the fund operation of East Ventures in South Korea.
This appointment follows the recent announcement of “East Ventures South Korea fund in partnership with SV Investment” of $100 million in October 2023.

“We eagerly anticipate further delving into the vast opportunities in Southeast Asia and South Korea,” said Willson Cuaca, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at East Ventures.
According to the statement, Sang brings 20 years of extensive experience, having held key leadership roles within asset management and venture capital firms covering Southeast Asia, Korea, and the United States.
His professional journey includes overseeing diverse corporate development responsibilities and directing investments. He also played a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of startups, notably during his tenure as the Managing Director of Temasek Lifesciences Accelerator (TLA).

Sang received a BSc in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University and an MBA from INSEAD.
