Malaysia has on Monday unveiled a blueprint for venture capital growth and economic empowerment. Crafted through meticulous collaboration and strategic foresight, this roadmap is set to ignite innovation, foster entrepreneurship, and drive economic growth across the nation.

Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP), has appointed Ter Leong Yap as its new Chairman, effective December 15, 2023. Ter joins its family with a wealth of experience through his current roles as the Founder and Executive Chairman, Sunsuria Group.

“We will persuade these 20 agencies (related to the ecosystem) that we will have to move towards a single window approach similar to what we have done with the visa application system,“ he said.

Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP) on Monday announced the appointment of Noor Amy Ismail as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Paramjit Singh Gill as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective August 1.
