BNB Chain (formerly called Binance Coin), the largest smart contract blockchain in terms of transaction volume and users in Web3, and Google Cloud, have entered into a strategic collaboration to enable early-stage Web3 and blockchain startups to develop and scale high-performance, efficient, and sustainable innovations for users and the entire industry.

Google Cloud on Wednesday announced its plans to bring three new Google Cloud regions to Malaysia, Thailand, and New Zealand, to meet growing demand for cloud services in Asia Pacific. The three regions will join six other previously announced Google Cloud regions, namely Berlin, Dammam, Doha, Mexico, Tel Aviv, and Turin.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Google Cloud have on Tuesday jointly launched the Point Carbon Zero Programme to drive the innovation, incubation and scaling of climate FinTech solutions in Asia.

Google will also tap AirAsia Super App’s in-region network to expand its developer community in Southeast Asia.
