Ride-hailing service GSM secures $32M from Philippine National Bank to expand fleet
The Philippine National Bank (PNB) will provide PHP2 billion ($32.4 million) to Green GSM Philippines, under Vietnam's ride-hailing service GSM, to support the expansion of Green GSM's all-electric ride-hailing operations across the Philippines.

To be clear, multiple hurdles remain to be overcome, from building the requisite charging infrastructure to support EVs, improving battery technology to make them safer and hold more power, as well as the responsible disposal of batteries at the end of their lifespan.
