Carousell Group, the Singapore-based recommerce group, announced Tuesday that it has acquired control of Laku6, the artificial intelligence (AI)-first end-to-end electronics recommerce platform in Indonesia, to bolster expansion Of electronics recommerce in Greater Southeast Asia.

Carousell, a classifieds group based in Singapore, has on Thursday officially announced its partnership with Zeek, the on-demand logistics technology platform, to launch a brand-new delivery option that provides a comprehensive and integrated shopping journey for Carousell users in Hong Kong.

Following Carousell Group’s investment from STIC Investments, this acquisition of sneaker marketplace Ox Street underpins the group’s strategic priority to accelerate its re-commerce growth in Greater Southeast Asia.

The latest funding round also came after Carousell raised $80 million in an investment round led by South Korean tech giant Naver in September last year.
