Last Thursday, iFlytek unveiled its new AI smart glasses at BEYOND Expo 2026 in Macau under the theme Communication Without Boundaries, the World Before Your Eyes, showcasing the company’s latest push into AI-powered devices.

As AI large models rapidly merge with wearable devices, smart glasses are once again becoming a focal point for the tech industry. From Meta’s AI glasses developed with Ray-Ban, to Apple’s Vision Pro, and Google’s renewed push into the AR ecosystem, global tech giants are competing once again for the next major computing platform.

As a newly launched sub-brand of BEYOND Expo, the summit centers on the AI hardware ecosystem and cutting-edge technologies, offering immersive experiences and targeted networking opportunities. It aims to create a platform for in-depth engagement among global media, industry KOLs, and innovative companies.

“AI won’t make me a better dad. My child needs love, attention, presence—not a smarter parent,” Kass said, adding that AI may simulate emotion or provide advice, but it cannot replicate human warmth, empathy, or moral judgment.

As the global esports industry recovers from a period of downturn, Ho said he sees the so-called “esports winter” not as a crisis, but as a necessary phase of transformation. NIP, a Nasdaq-listed international esports group, is leveraging this moment to diversify its ecosystem and accelerate its global strategy, he added.
