TinyFish, a Silicon Valley-based AI infrastructure startup, has opened its Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City last Friday.
In a statement on Thursday, TinyFish said the office is its commitment to Vietnam and its talent, rather than a representative office or an outsourcing center.
TinyFish builds infrastructure that lets AI agents work on the web in real time at scale. The company raised $47 million in a Series A round in August 2025, led by ICONIQ, with participation from USVP, Mango Capital, MongoDB Ventures, and Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners.
TinyFish platform passed 400,000 users in early October 2026. More than 500 teams run production workloads on it, ranging from AI-native startups to Fortune 500 companies. Notable customers include DoorDash, ClassPass, and Grubhub, along with NESIC and Digital Garage in Japan.
TinyFish said its Vietnam team does more than support functions. Alongside marketing, project delivery and market development, the team takes part in building the company’s core AI model. The Vietnamese team has worked with TinyFish for more than a year, covering engineering, marketing, delivery, and go-to-market work.
Keith Zhai, TinyFish’s co-founder and COO, said that each country has only one such breakthrough phase. While Vietnam is in the middle of it, the company wants to grow with Vietnam.
TinyFish says it can help AI agents complete complex web tasks that break on live sites because of login requirements, shifting layouts, personalized prices, and anti-bot systems. The company says its infrastructure handles those obstacles at scale.
TinyFish also says it offers its TinySearch and TinyFetch products free on all plans. It says that in its benchmark tests, it had the lowest total search API cost among 12 providers tested on the Artificial Analysis index.
