Toku Ltd., a Singapore-headquartered AI-powered customer experience company, said foodpanda is now using its Toku Contact Centre to support customers in Cambodia and Laos.

In a statement on Thursday, Toku said the deployment extends an existing partnership between the two companies in other markets. Toku said the platform has been in production since September 2026.

Toku said the platform supports a team of agents managed by foodpanda’s outsourced agency, handling both inbound and outbound calls. The new markets bring operational complexity, fast-moving conditions, and language demands. The platform was chosen because it had performed reliably in foodpanda’s other markets.

Thomas Laboulle, founder and CEO of Toku, said foodpanda’s decision to take the partnership into new markets showed that the platform works where complexity is the norm.

Toku said the Cambodia and Laos operations run on the same platform as foodpanda’s other markets. This gives foodpanda consistent reporting and performance metrics across the partnership. It also allows comparison of results across deployments. It can consolidate voice operations on one platform and reduce the number of voice-technology vendors foodpanda must manage.

Ye Myint Aung, head of country marketplace experience for the Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar cluster at foodpanda, said reliability and speed are non-negotiable for customers who rely on the service daily. He said the platform had met that standard in other markets, which made it an easy decision for Cambodia and Laos.

Toku described the deployment as reflecting its modular customer experience platform, which can build on end-to-end ownership of the technology stack, from carrier-grade connectivity to AI applications. The deployment adds to its growing base of enterprise customers in the region.
