Singapore-based East Ventures has released its 2026 Sustainability Report, outlining the firm’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, investment impact, and emissions reduction targets across Southeast Asia.

The report, themed “Building with integrity: Growing value through discipline,” highlighted sustainability principles within the venture capital firm’s investment activities and operations.

East Ventures continues to invest in startups across sectors including AI-first, consumer, fintech, healthtech, logistics, and climate tech. The firm and its ecosystem have contributed to 16 of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), according to the report.

The report also detailed several initiatives led by the firm, including My First $1000, an entrepreneurship program for students in Singapore, the East Ventures – Digital Competitiveness Index report in Indonesia, the Climate Impact Innovations Challenge, and ECOVISEA, a web-based greenhouse gas calculator.

On workplace diversity, East Ventures reported that women make up 54 percent of its team members, 50 percent of senior leaders, and 33 percent of investing partners. The firm also stated that 26 percent of its active portfolio companies are female-founded or co-founded.

East Ventures said it aims to achieve net-zero emissions for Scope 1 and 2 by 2030, and net-zero emissions including financed emissions by 2050. The company reported a 23 percent reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in 2025, compared to 2024.
