VinFast, the electric vehicle (EV) maker under Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, has offered dealer partners up to $60,000 for each new electric motorcycle showroom they open in the Philippines and Indonesia.
In a statement on Tuesday, VinFast said the promotion aims to speed up the build-out of its distribution network in the two Southeast Asian markets.
The package has three tiers. Showrooms opened by December 31, 2026 receive base support of up to $40,000 per location, with the amount set by the showroom’s size, floor area and compliance with dealership standards.
Showrooms opened by October 31, 2026 qualify for up to $5,000 more per location. Partners that open three or more stores can receive up to US$15,000 more for each one.
Dealers will also be expected to follow VinFast’s standards for brand identity, showroom design, operating procedures, and customer service.
Partners will sell battery-swapping electric motorcycles, initially including the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper models. Dealers will also have access to the company’s service and warranty facilities, along with support policies for service workshops.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, managing director of VinFast’s overseas e-scooter market, said dealer expansion was central to building an electric motorcycle ecosystem abroad. VinFast will work with partners to make the most of their strengths and build a stronger network, she added.
The program is part of a wider plan to expand distribution in the Philippines and Indonesia. VinFast plans hundreds of stores in each market by the end of 2026, expanding its current network of 63 electric motorcycle dealerships across the two countries as of September 2026.
