Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Adobe, and Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy will jointly help Indonesians turn digital access and creativity into economic opportunity, combining Indosat’s nationwide reach, Adobe’s AI-powered creative tools, and the Ministry’s creative economy ecosystem.

In a statement on Tuesday, Indosat, a major digital telecommunications company in Indonesia, said the three sides have launched a collaboration for the move. Through the partnership, all Indosat customers will receive six months of complimentary premium access to Adobe Express, along with practical learning videos from Adobe Digital Academy translated into Bahasa Indonesia.

Adobe has also selected Indonesia to launch its first creator monetization program, enabling Indonesian creators to earn directly from locally designed templates on Adobe Express. Select participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work at IDEAFEST, one of Indonesia’s largest creative festivals.

Indosat’s youth empowerment platform GENSi, featuring more than 10,000 young Indonesians through digital literacy programs, aims to reach 15,000 youth nationwide this year through the initiative.

The collaboration also connects with the Ministry’s ECHOES program, which promotes creative economy literacy, AI adoption, and industry-relevant skills among young people across Indonesia.

Teuku Riefky Harsya, Minister of Creative Economy, said the partnership demonstrates how government and industry can collaborate to equip the next generation with the skills to compete on the global stage, leveraging technology to strengthen human creativity rather than replace it.
