Salesforce, the global artificial intelligence (AI) customer relationship management (CRM) firm, announced Monday the appointment of Paul Carvouni as Senior Vice President and General Manager for ASEAN.
Salesforce said in a statement that Caryouni will be responsible for driving the region’s growth strategy and building sales and operational excellence, while accelerating the transformation of every ASEAN business into an agentic enterprise.
According to the statement, AI represents a $1 trillion growth opportunity for ASEAN by 2030, and Salesforce is committed to helping organizations capitalize on this wave by becoming agentic enterprises.
By integrating humans, agents, apps, and data on a trusted, unified platform, the firm said organizations can leapfrog traditional digital transformation timelines to unlock unprecedented growth and innovation.
It is noted that Caryouni’s appointment comes as Salesforce continues to build tremendous momentum in ASEAN, launching a new office in the Philippines in October 2025 in addition to existing offices in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Salesforce also recently announced the availability of Agentforce Service and Employee Agent in several ASEAN languages to serve local needs.
Caryouni is an accomplished senior executive with over two decades of leadership in technology companies including Microsoft and Riverbed Technology covering the Asia Pacific and ASEAN region.
He brings a wealth of experience building and leading high growth teams in the region.
He has successfully engineered growth at scale and consistently cultivated high performing teams to grow market leadership.
