Animoca Brands Japan, a strategic subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Web3 firm Animoca Brands, has on Friday announced a partnership with HashPalette to support the global expansion of the Japanese Web3 gaming sector.

As part of the partnership, Animoca Brands will provide marketing support for the global expansion of HashPalette’s game THE LAND ELF Crossing (THE LAND), Animoca Brands said in a statement.

According to the statement, Animoca Brands Japan and HashPalette will collaborate on THE LAND, the metaverse blockchain game developed and published by HashPalette.

The partnership will also promote collaboration with the ecosystem that Animoca Brands is building through its portfolio companies and partners around the world, and will foster various initiatives with the aim to bring THE LAND to overseas audiences.

HashPalette is a wholly owned subsidiary of HashPort Inc. focused on non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

HashPort provides business collaboration services using SoulBound Token (SBT) and a development platform for Web3 wallets to financial companies.

HashPalette will provide one-stop support from technical infrastructure to content dissemination, including publishing of blockchain games.

Specifically, it develops Palette Chain, a blockchain network optimized for NFT distribution, issues and distributes PLTs (Palette tokens), operates PLT Place, the largest proprietary domestic NFT marketplace, and develops and operates X-to-Earn products.

In July 2021, the first IEO for the Palette Token (PLT), the native token of the “Palette Chain,” was conducted, attracting approximately 22.4 billion yen ($149.96 million) in subscriptions against an offering of approximately 900 million yen ($6.03 million).

The upcoming IEO for the ELF Token will be the second IEO for the company.

Participation in the IEO is subject to additional terms and conditions and eligibility requirements of bitFlyer.

THE LAND ELF Crossing is a metaverse farming blockchain game published by HashPalette.

In THE LAND, player can receive rewards by delivering items created by crop production, and use those rewards to develop your own town.

Some crops can be taken out of the game as NFTs and sold for ELF Tokens.

In addition, rare Star Seeds’ can be obtained by growing rare items called Star Crops.

Some Star Crops can be exchanged for up to 1 million yen ($6,694) worth of ELF Tokens at PLT Place.
