SWITCH, the Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology, is a new platform concept where tech and innovation come together to “plug and play.” The conference will be the first in Singapore to gather both public and private sector players in the tech and business ecosystem for a week of exhibitions, speaker sessions, workshops, and activities around the topics of open innovation, technology transfer, tech entrepreneurship, venture funding, and talent development. Elon Huang
Founder & CEO, MainNet Capital
Elon Huang is the Founder and CEO of MainNet Capital, a digital asset management firm in the blockchain-based financial market focused on the growth of the global blockchain industry via strategic capital deployment, project incubation, and resource integration. He was a Top Banker at multiple institutions during his banking career. He also served as a HK listed company Regional Head. Elon managed and raised hundreds of millions of dollars from the traditional financial market for an IPO project. Most recently, he built a blockchain consulting company that has seen a 0 to 50 million valuation appreciation within a year.
Liu Guojie
Managing Director, Bibox Southeast Asia
Liu Guojie is currently Managing Director of Bibox, an AI-enhanced encrypted digital asset exchange that provides multiple altcoins to trade with, founded by a top-tier team from Chinese blockchain giants including early Bitcoin enthusiasts, well-established entrepreneurs, VCs, professional securities traders, AI experts, and high-tech angel investors in the industry. Guojie holds a dual degree from the National University of Singapore and the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Bibox, he worked as an asset manager at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset management firm. He has extensive experience in finance, real estate, and blockchain investments.
Piyush Chaplot
Partner, NEO Global Capital
Piyush is a Partner at the newly formed NGC Fund, a strategic investment vehicle affiliated with NEO and one of the largest institutional owners of cryptocurrencies, and is based out of Singapore. Prior to joining the NGC team, Piyush was a General Partner of Innosight Ventures for 8 years and has been investing primarily in SEA-based technology startups. Piyush’s own entrepreneurial background includes founding a cloud-based software company called Smart Audit.
Li Xi
Regional Head, LD Capital Singapore
Li Xi is the Regional Head of LD Capital Singapore Division, Partner of Hunter Capital, and Partner of BECO Fund. LD Capital is one of Asia’s earliest organizations focusing on value investing in the blockchain field and has successively discovered and invested in projects such as Qtum, Vechain, and Eos. Prior to becoming Regional Head of LD Capital, Li worked as a senior software engineer at Visa and has been the main contributor for three US patents. Driven by his passion for blockchain technology, Li has established his own blockchain evaluation self-media BitWhale, which now has more than 30,000 subscribers. He dedicates himself to finding, funding, and incubating the most promising and innovative blockchain projects; Li actively participates in more than 50 ICOs. His investment portfolio includes: IPFS, Tezos, ICON, EOS, BNB, Zilliqa, NKN, Fantom, QuarkChain, Celer Network, Thunder Token, Certik, and Perlin, among others.
