Singapore’s PE fund ABC World Asia exits solar energy firm Sunseap Group with EDP Renewables deal
ABC World Asia (ABC World), the Singapore-based Asia-focused private equity impact fund, is set to make its first exit as part of a transaction between shareholders of portfolio company Sunseap Group and global renewables energy producer EDP Renewables (EDPR).
Portugal’s EDP Renewables acquires 87.4% stake in Singapore’s Sunseap for $697M
The transaction allows EDPR to establish its presence in APAC with 540MW of operational and under-construction solar projects and a sizeable portfolio at different stages of development, namely 5.5GW of renewable projects.
