MAGIC Fund II is currently looking at global startups that are focused on building infrastructure while delivering a quality customer experience. The firm typically writes checks of $100,000 to $300,000 for early-stage startups and will continue to do so in this fund.

The fund is one of five strategic investment funds that are set to inject $100 million worth of new capital into the Solana ecosystem. The ecosystem is composed of a community of projects and apps that were built on the blockchain founded by former Qualcomm, Intel, and Dropbox engineers.

Touchstone Partners has announced the first close of its inaugural $50 million venture capital fund. The fund is backed by New York-based Pavilion Capital, Vulcan Capital, and several other investors and family offices. 

Since establishment in 2014, Openspace Ventures has invested in 33 companies across verticals including logistics, FinTech, AgriTech, EdTech, HealthTech, CleanTech, and B2B SaaS. One of the firm’s earlier investments includes Indonesian unicorn Gojek.

Targeting to invest in around 40 companies, the fund intends to focus on tech-enabled B2B or B2B2C startups in their pre-Series A to Series A round of funding with an average investment of $500,000 per startup.
