Forge Ventures said it will build a concentrated portfolio of just 15 companies over the next three years with a focus on Singapore and Indonesia.

Startup Studio Indonesia has selected 15 early-stage startups - out of a total of 5,723 registrants - to take part in Startup Studio Indonesia's third batch of incubation training.

Led by Insights Partners, Spenmo has clinched one of Singapore’s largest Series A funding rounds to date.

The fresh funds will be used to expand the leadership and growth teams, to enter new geographies and to deepen technology development.

The company has also received interest from leagues and fans across the globe to replicate Sorare model in other sports and it plans to roll out new sports in 2022.

The company will use the funds raised to enhance its live streaming technology- and AI-powered online spiritual platforms and scale its operations across new and existing markets.

The $55 million investment will be channeled towards continuous technological enhancements and investing in further trust and safety measures that will help improve the overall profitability of the business.

Zenyum's fundraising and expansion plans come as clear aligners are gaining popularity across Asia and Southeast Asia, trailing trends in the US and Europe. Since its founding in 2018, Zenyum said the company has grown exponentially, seeing a 4x revenue increase in 2020 alone.

The latest funding round also came after Carousell raised $80 million in an investment round led by South Korean tech giant Naver in September last year.
