Resync Technologies (Resync) has raised $2 million in Series A funding from global venture firm GGV Capital. The investment will back the company’s plans to innovate and develop more advanced features for its energy cloud platform, while expanding to more markets across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The funding comes just a month after Airwallex announced an oversubscribed Series E round as the company looks to accelerate its global expansion plans. This latest round takes Airwallex’s total Series E fundraising to $300 million, with $802 million raised in total.

ReSkills EdTech has recently secured a $1.5 million investment from a group of private angel investors led by JSF Platinum to boost growth plans and stabilize its expansion, especially in the Southeast Asian region.

The firm is keen to pursue acquisitions in categories that augment its loyalty point ecosystem, as well as e-Commerce and online travel.

Zoomo has raised $60 million in Series B funding led by Grok Ventures. It will use the funds to expand its operations into new cities and countries, deepen software integration with its customers, and finalize development of the firm’s next-generation vehicles.

Quincus has raised an undisclosed amount in the second close of its Series B funding round led by AEI HorizonX. The latest investment will be used for the expansion of the firm’s global footprint with an emphasis on commercial growth in the United States.

“It’s just that in China, the way it is being executed has been a little more blunt and quick, and that is why it has created a lot of shocks out there,” Sipahimalani was quoted as saying.

Proceeds of the funding will be used by Plentina to accelerate the company’s growth in the Philippines, to offer new product expansions, and to begin exploring other markets in Southeast Asia, such as Vietnam.
