Lenovo has expanded its virtualized-infrastructure portfolio with a new ThinkAgile system, additional deployment services and more pre-validated configurations spanning several virtualization and hybrid-cloud platforms.
The new ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is designed for highly virtualized enterprise environments and demanding in-memory workloads. Lenovo said the system is intended to help organizations consolidate and modernize critical workloads while leaving room for AI-enabled applications.
The company is also reorganizing its Infrastructure Deployment Services into three levels: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus. All three include readiness work and hardware installation, while the Premier tiers add implementation and operational handoff support. Premier Deploy Plus also includes extended post-deployment assistance and a one-year infrastructure health assessment, excluding DE Storage Array.
Lenovo is also expanding its Express Solutions portfolio with pre-validated configurations across Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Microsoft Azure Local, Nutanix Compute Cluster and SUSE Virtualization.
The approach reflects a broader shift in enterprise virtualization, where organizations are reassessing workload placement, platform choice and migration paths while also preparing infrastructure for AI workloads. Lenovo is emphasizing open standards and incremental modernization rather than a single virtualization stack.
Its ThinkSystem Storage and ThinkAgile HCI portfolio also includes data-protection and recovery capabilities aimed at supporting business-critical and AI workloads.
