OneByZero, a Singapore-based company that deploys and manages AI systems inside large enterprises, has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Jungle Ventures, also the venture fund’s first outside funding.

In a statement on Monday, OneByZero said it will utilize use the money to grow its engineering teams across the nine operating markets of Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. It also seeks to open a team in Japan.

Niket Vaidya, OneByZero’s CEO and co-founder, said AI can create value and keep improving when it runs inside the systems that operate a business.

Yash Sankrityayan, a managing partner at Jungle Ventures, said OneByZero stood out for having spent three years deploying AI in large, complex organizations with measurable results, as more Asian enterprises move AI from experimentation into core operations.
