Zeekr Malaysia has opened a pop-up store in Kuching, marking the premium electric-vehicle brand’s first retail presence in East Malaysia and its entry into Sarawak.

The location at The Spring Kuching is being operated with local automotive partner Ghee Hua Group of Companies. Zeekr and Ghee Hua signed a dealer agreement in July 2026, and the companies plan to use the pop-up as a first step toward a more permanent sales and service presence in the state.

Zeekr said it surpassed 5,000 owners in Malaysia in August 2026. The Kuching site will display the Zeekr 7X, 009 and X, while the company targets a dedicated Zeekr Space Kuching sales center and a service center in the first quarter of 2027.

The automaker has also introduced a mobile-service program in East Malaysia while its permanent aftersales network is being developed. The Kuching expansion follows Zeekr’s recent expansion of its Klang Valley retail and aftersales network.
