Ant Group’s embodied-AI company Robbyant has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Federation for Digital Economy to support the deployment and localization of robotic and embodied-AI systems in the United Arab Emirates and other Middle Eastern markets.
The agreement covers regional commercialization, proof-of-concept projects, Arabic and Middle East localization, physical-AI data and model collaboration, and ecosystem development. The companies identified potential applications across hospitality, retail, real estate, logistics, industrial operations, smart cities, healthcare and entertainment.
Robbyant said localization work will include Arabic-language interaction, regional workflows and operating environments. Any collaboration involving physical-AI data and training will remain subject to local laws, customer authorization and separate agreements.
The company introduced its LingBot 2.0 model family in July 2026. Robbyant says its LingBot-VLA 2.0 foundation model supports pre-training across 20 robotic embodiments from 17 hardware brands, while its broader model suite covers areas including depth perception, vision, world simulation, video and vision-action systems.
Robbyant has already deployed robotic systems in commercial settings including pharmacies, logistics facilities and industrial machine tending. The AFDE agreement is intended to establish a route for adapting those systems to Middle Eastern markets rather than simply exporting existing deployments unchanged.
