AnyMind Group has updated its AnyLive platform with changes to AI avatar generation and analytics intended to give brands a more consistent view of performance across human-led and AI-fronted live commerce.

The Singapore-based company said the features are already available to existing customers. The avatar updates focus on body movement, facial expressions, lip-sync accuracy, customization and response latency, while the analytics changes add comparisons and conversion analysis across different types of livestreams.

The release comes as live commerce continues to expand across Asia, but the company is positioning AI-fronted streams as a complement to human hosts rather than a wholesale replacement for them.

AI avatars can be generated from existing video

AnyLive’s updated generative stack is designed to produce more lifelike avatars with improved body movements, facial expressions and lip synchronization. Users can also customize clothing, products, makeup and hairstyles.

AnyMind said lower response latency is intended to make interactions feel more natural. The platform can now generate an AI avatar from existing video footage, which can reduce the need for a dedicated local shoot when a brand wants to deploy a similar presenter across markets.

The company is also allowing brands to create digital versions of mascots. That broadens the use case beyond human digital twins and gives companies another way to maintain a consistent visual identity in always-on streams.

The announcement does not include independent measurements of avatar realism, latency improvements or conversion uplift from the new model. Those performance questions will depend on the platform, market, product category and how viewers respond to AI-fronted presenters.

Analytics cover human and AI livestreams

The updated dashboard provides account-, brand- and livestream-level views covering both human-led and AI-fronted commerce. AnyMind said users can review sales and interaction data alongside platform comparisons, conversion-funnel analysis and performance diagnostics.

The platform also generates AI-based learnings and recommendations intended to help teams identify patterns behind stronger or weaker livestream performance. Bringing both formats into the same analytics layer can make it easier to compare when a human host performs better and when an automated stream is useful for extending selling hours.

AnyMind has been building that hybrid approach in Southeast Asia. TNGlobal reported in July that the company expanded its live-commerce footprint in Indonesia with a Bintaro hub housing around 20 studios, while continuing to support both human and AI-fronted livestreaming.

Live commerce continues to expand across Asia

AnyMind cited Momentum Works data projecting Southeast Asia’s broader “content commerce” market, which includes live, video and content-affiliate commerce, at $77.9 billion in 2026. That would represent 57 percent year-on-year growth from 2025, according to the cited estimate.

The company also pointed to South Korea, where the live-shopping market was reported at $3.2 billion in 2025 after growing 2.4 times over three years. In Japan, a Dentsu Digital consumer survey cited by AnyMind found the share of respondents who had used live commerce rising from 1.6 percent in 2024 to 6 percent in 2025.

Those figures come from different sources and measure different market definitions, so they should not be treated as directly comparable regional market shares. Together, however, they show why commerce platforms are investing in tools that can scale livestream production while giving brands more visibility into what converts viewers into buyers.

Akinori Kubo, managing director for Global E-Commerce at AnyMind Group, said the company expects the next phase of live commerce to combine human creativity with AI-enabled intelligence. The effectiveness of that mix will depend on whether automated presenters can sustain viewer trust and whether the new analytics help brands improve outcomes beyond simply keeping streams online for longer periods.
