Singapore-based venture capital firm 1982 Ventures has participated in US artificial intelligence (AI) video and image creation platform Higgsfield‘s $400 million Series B at $5.4 billion valuation.

Higgsfield said in a statement that it has closed the Series B round led by DST Global.

The financing values the company at more than four times its January 2026 valuation of $1.3 billion, eight months earlier.

Higgsfield reported annualized revenue of $700 million as of August 2026.

Other investors in the round include Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Intel Capital, Tribe Capital, Smash Capital, Fifth Wall, Valor Capital, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, Mirae Asset Capital and NTT DOCOMO Ventures.

Existing backers Accel, Menlo Ventures, AI Capital Partners (Alpha Intelligence Capital’s US-based fund), GFT Ventures, Capra Ventures, BAM Corner Point and BroadLight Capital also participated.

Higgsfield said the capital will support continued investment in research and development, expand global infrastructure, recruit elite AI talent, and scale its global go-to-market efforts.

“Every business needs visual content, but creating it at the quality, speed and scale companies demand remains complex and expensive,” said Alex Mashrabov, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Higgsfield.

“AI is fundamentally changing that. The next wave of value will be created by the applications that put this technology to work, and Higgsfield is leading that shift in visual media,

“We’re building the platform businesses use to create high-quality content faster and more efficiently, positioning Higgsfield at the center of a multi-trillion-dollar global market,” he added.

According to the statement, Higgsfield has more than 30 million users globally across 238 countries and territories, with the United States representing its largest market.

A primary driver of that momentum is the increased adoption of the firm’s agentic products, which automate complex, multi-scene visual production.

Following the company’s Supercomputer rollout in May 2026, users of Higgsfield’s agentic products have grown 42-fold in just three months, driving more than 20 million content generations per month.

Higgsfield said it powers visual production for 390 of the Fortune 500 currently. The company’s enterprise customer base spans advertising and marketing, media and entertainment, broadcasting, fashion, retail, consumer brands, technology, financial services, and pharmaceuticals.

“Higgsfield is exactly the kind of company we look for: a generational business being built at the leading edge of AI, with real revenue and real enterprise adoption behind it,

“We are fortunate to have a strong network of investors and operators that gives 1982 access to opportunities like this one, and we are excited to have participated alongside such a strong group of investors.” said Herston Powers, Founding Managing Partner at 1982 Ventures.
