England’s Chelsea Football Club and Vietnam’s technology giant FPT have extended their technology partnership for the 2026/27 season, continuing work on the Premier League club’s digital systems and fan engagement.

In a statement on Wednesday, FPT said the two began working together in 2025 and then FPT became a principal partner and sleeve sponsor of the club for the 2025/26 season. The collaboration focus on digital platforms, customer engagement, business operations, and emerging technologies, developed in part through workshops at FPT’s innovation campus in Vietnam.

Among the projects delivered so far, Chelsea FC and FPT introduced Megastore Express, a mobile-based click-and-collect system for matchday retail in 2026. Besides, the two launched an official supporters’ club platform for fans around the world to form supporter groups and take part in club activities.

Ollie Boden, partnership sales director at Chelsea FC, said the club focuses on using technology and AI to expand its digital presence and bring fans closer to the club. Mark Scrivens, chief executive of FPT in the United Kingdom, said the two sides would continue to develop fan-focused technology solutions together.

FPT is among Vietnam’s largest information-technology companies, with businesses spanning software, IT services and education. It reported revenue of about $2.47 billion in 2024 and has more than 54,000 employees.
