Nexedge Capital, an Indian wealth-management and multi-family office firm, has raised $20 million in its first funding round, co-led by Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Elev8 Venture Partners.

In a statement on Wednesday, Nexedge Capital said it would utilize the capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its network of senior bankers and extend across India, including smaller Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Nexedge Capital was founded in February 2025 by Anirudha Taparia, previously co-founder and joint chief executive of 360 ONE Wealth, formerly IIFL Wealth. The firm serves wealthy individuals, families, and companies. It reached more than $3 billion in assets under management (AUM) across over 1,300 clients, with more than 95 senior bankers, in 18 months. The latest round valued the firm at about $250 million.

Nexedge Capital’s model was built on employee ownership, with more than 150 senior staff investing their own capital in the firm.

Nexedge Capital aims to become India’s first “net-worth management” firm, managing a family’s entire balance sheet rather than only its invertible surplus. It strives to bring together investments, portfolio management, estate planning, business expansion, and support for relocating abroad.

Anirudha Taparia, founder and chief executive of Nexedge, said the round supports his aim of building a firm to manage the whole of a family’s wealth. Puneet Kumar, chief executive of Mirae Asset Venture Investment, said the firm’s ownership model, with senior leaders investing their own money, showed long-term commitment.

Mirae Asset Venture Investment is the venture capital arm of Mirae Asset Global Investments, a South Korean financial group managing more than $1 trillion in assets across 19 countries.

Elev8 Venture Partners is a growth-stage venture firm focused on technology companies in India, with investments across fintech, consumer, software, mobility and enterprise technology.
