Indonesia’s Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has launched Zankore by Indosat, an AI infrastructure platform targeting 1 GW of NVIDIA DSX AI Factory capacity, in collaboration with Qatar’s Ooredoo Group as lead investor, Finland’s Nokia, and US chipmaker NVIDIA.
In a statement on Thursday, Indosat said the platform can serve hyperscalers, enterprises, and governments across Asia-Pacific, with Indonesia as the initial deployment market.
Zankore will deliver approximately 200 MW of AI capacity in the first half of 2027, powered by NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 processors. The platform uses NVIDIA DSX, a reference architecture that integrates accelerated computing, networking, power, cooling, and operations into a unified system. It will also incorporate NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS, which dynamically optimizes power across the GPU fleet and can enable up to 40 percent more compute within the same power budget.
Regarding cooperation, Ooredoo Group provides long-term capital and regional scale as lead investor and platform sponsor. Indosat contributes market leadership, digital infrastructure, and execution capabilities in Indonesia. NVIDIA provides accelerated computing, AI software, GPU access, and its global AI ecosystem. Nokia delivers AI-native networking for secure, high-performance AI infrastructure.
Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, said enterprises moving from AI experimentation to mission-critical deployment need more than computing power. Zankore provides an integrated AI stack spanning models such as Sahabat-AI to intelligent network capabilities including AI Grid and AI-RAN.
Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo, Group CEO of Ooredoo Group, said AI infrastructure is becoming a fundamental layer of the digital economy. The greatest opportunities will come from investing early, at scale, and with the right partners, the executive added.
Justin Hotard, President and CEO of Nokia, said Nokia’s AI-native networking provides the connectivity fabric underpinning the new generation of AI infrastructure.
Ronnie Vasishta, Senior Vice President of Telecom at NVIDIA, said the platform can accelerate Southeast Asia’s ability to shape its own sustainable AI future.
