The United States-based enterprise software company ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) will invest $40 million in India’s BUSINESSNEXT, a banking and financial services software platform, to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven banking operations across Asia-Pacific.

In a statement on Thursday, BUSINESSNEXT said under the collaboration, BUSINESSNEXT will manage customer-facing acquisition, engagement, and real-time customer signals. ServiceNow’s Financial Services Operations platform will handle middle and back-office operations including case management, complaints handling, and AI-driven workflows. ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower can connect the two systems into a unified operating layer for financial services organizations.

Nishant Singh, CEO and Co-founder of BUSINESSNEXT, said the investment will accelerate the company’s efforts to deliver private AI solutions. It strives to fulfill the specific needs of banking and financial services, enable institutions to operate with greater speed and coordination across customer and operational functions.

Adrian Johnston, President for Asia-Pacific at ServiceNow, said BUSINESSNEXT’s track record with Indian banks and insurers, combined with ServiceNow’s operational AI capabilities, can help financial services enterprises in Asia-Pacific with AI-driven transformation. The investment reflects ServiceNow’s focus on delivering industry-specific solutions rather than generic platforms, the executive added.

BUSINESSNEXT provides customer relationship management, digital lending, and AI-driven workflow tools for banks and financial institutions. The platform serves more than one million users across more than 75,000 branches and more than one billion end customers globally.
