Vietnam’s tech giant FPT Corporation and Singapore’s transport giant ComfortDelGro will collaborate in artificial intelligence (AI), smart mobility, and logistics-transport across the Asia Pacific region.
The two sides have signed a memorandum of understanding for the cooperation, FPT said in a statement on Friday. The partnership will focus on AI-enabled applications including fleet and transport management, predictive maintenance, intelligent asset monitoring, demand forecasting, smart transport systems, connected mobility, digital commuter services, and logistics optimization.
The two companies plan to advance pilot initiatives, collaborative research, joint innovation workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities with public and private sector stakeholders to foster stronger regional connectivity and innovation-driven mobility ecosystems.
David Nguyen, CEO of FPT Asia Pacific, said urban mobility and logistics are entering a new phase where AI, automation, and digital platforms will increasingly shape customer experience and long-term growth. He said FPT aims to work with ComfortDelGro on practical solutions that improve operational performance and unlock new growth opportunities across Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region.
FPT entered Singapore in 2007 and has since expanded across key Asia Pacific markets, serving more than 500 enterprises in sectors including aviation, logistics, healthcare, and banking and financial services. The company operates with a global workforce of more than 30,000 AI-augmented engineers and maintains AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan.
