Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an India-based information technology (IT) services firm, announced Thursday the launch of a Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center (GEC) in Singapore.
TCS said in a statement that housed in TCS’ Singapore Global Innovation Labs, the center provides a dedicated tech-led environment for innovation, enabling enterprises from various industries to explore new possibilities with agentic artificial intelligence (AI).
It is designed to empower organizations to co-create, prototype, and scale transformative business solutions.
The GEC combines TCS’ engineering strengths with Google Cloud’s AI and cloud technologies to enable rapid prototyping and scalable solutions.
Through this collaboration, Singaporean businesses can harness Google’s Gemini models and agentic AI to boost agility, meet regulatory requirements, and deliver hyper-personalized customer experiences.
Enterprises across sectors such as BFSI, retail, manufacturing, transport, and healthcare, can work directly with TCS and Google Cloud to embed AI across their value chains to streamline and transform traditional operations, strengthen security, and deliver adaptive, customer-centric services.
The GEC will partner with enterprises in Singapore and beyond to realize innovative AI-driven possibilities.
“Our collaboration with TCS in Singapore through the Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center demonstrates our commitment to helping enterprises unlock new possibilities with AI,
“The GEC provides a unique space where businesses can explore Google Cloud’s advanced AI technologies with TCS’ deep contextual expertise,” said Serene Sia, Country Director for Singapore and Malaysia, Google Cloud.
According to her, the combined expertise of TCS and Google Cloud can help enterprises accelerate their digital transformation journeys, improving resilience, and enhancing customer engagement across industries.
It is noted that enterprises using the GEC can access rapid prototyping in dedicated sandbox environments using Google’s Gemini models and tools like Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform and BigQuery autonomous data and AI platform.
The GEC also provides access to Google Cloud’s AI-optimised infrastructure, including GPUs and TPUs, for accelerated testing, and enables co-creation of scalable AI applications with TCS’ Google Cloud-certified experts, ensuring secure, seamless, and responsible AI deployments.
“Singapore is a hub of innovation and digital adoption, and the new Google Cloud Gemini Experience Centre enables organizations to combine human expertise with agentic AI to reimagine their businesses,
“By leveraging this dedicated space, clients can accelerate the creation of industry-defining solutions across customer engagement, decision-making workflows, and operational efficiencies. This initiative with Google Cloud positions enterprises in Singapore to lead with confidence in an AI-enabled future,” said Punit Agarwal, Country Head-Singapore, TCS.
The new Google Gemini Experience Centre adds to TCS’ expansive innovation ecosystem in Singapore.
Over the past four decades, TCS has made substantial investments in developing its research capabilities in Singapore.
It recently launched an AI-Powered Research and Innovation Center in Singapore to fast-track digital transformation for businesses globally and solidify Singapore’s position as a leading destination for emerging technology adoption in the Asia Pacific region.
TCS said it is committed to further supporting Singapore’s development, by expanding its AI research capabilities through strategic collaborations with universities and institutions like Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
TCS has also established the TCS GoZero Hub as an ASEAN Center of Excellence for research, innovation, and collaboration to advance sustainable technologies and practices toward achieving global net-zero emissions targets.
