The Singapore-based payments infrastructure platform HitPay has partnered with France-based electronic payment solutions firm Ingenico to launch “all-in-one” system to boost Philippine small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) digital payments adoption.

The duo said in a statement on Tuesday that Filipino SMEs are set to gain faster access to cash flow and simplified operations through the new all-in-one payments system.

The collaboration equips local merchants to seamlessly accept all major payment types, from credit cards to popular local e-wallets.

The partnership’s initial deployment has already begun for businesses in key industries such as retail, food and beverage, and travel where the shift to digital payments have been pronounced.

It aims to equip 10,000 SMEs in the Philippines in the next two years.

According to the statement, HitPay’s software platform is integrated with Ingenico’s smart terminal to help merchants accept major types of payments – from major credit/debit cards, QR-based payments like GCash and Maya, to global cross-border payments.

For SMEs, where tight margins are common, this solution gives quicker access to cash flow, often settling payments faster than traditional models.

Beyond access, the smart terminal also provides an affordable and simple way for SMEs to manage end-to-end operations from a single platform.

These include unifying online and offline payment methods, issuing invoices, automating recurring billings, and accessing business insights to help inform key decisions.

The partnership also combines Ingenico’s global payments network, and HitPay’s extensive network made up of 25 regional payment partners, enabling SMEs to serve both domestic customers and tourists seamlessly.

“As the Philippines accelerates its ‘cash-lite’ goal, SMEs need to provide choice, speed, and security at checkout without being overwhelmed by complex software, multiple reconciliation steps, and high integration costs.,

“Our collaboration with Ingenico goes beyond terminals and transactions; it is about democratizing access to enterprise-grade tools, giving SMEs the confidence to play their full part in the Philippines’ digital future,” said Aditya Haripurkar, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hitpay.

Xavier Michel, Head of Southeast Asia Channel Markets, Ingenico, said Ingenico’s mission has always been to simplify payments for businesses of every size.

“By working with HitPay and leveraging a comprehensive network of payment and banking partners, we’re giving Filipino SMEs access to secure and innovative tools that allow them to grow and stay relevant in a fast-changing market,” he added.

HitPay operates as a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)-regulated payment platform in the Philippines, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations while serving over 20,000 small businesses across the region.
