Cashku, a Malaysian AI-native digital wealth platform, has signed a distribution agreement with KAF Investment Funds Berhad to bring a selected range of the fund house’s funds onto its platform.
In a statement on Wednesday, Cashku, operated by Advisonomics Sdn Bhd and licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), said its technology can handle risk profiling, suitability assessment and portfolio monitoring, under the supervision of licensed representatives.
The SC’s Capital Market Masterplan 2026–2030 expects digital platforms and AI-enabled advisory services to lower costs, broaden participation and provide tailored solutions. With KAF, Cashku’s service now covers the KAF range, which comes from a fund house recognized at the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards Malaysia in each of the last three years.
The KAF range spans money market and sukuk strategies, balanced, growth and income funds, and domestic and global equity funds. It includes conventional and Shariah-compliant mandates and each fund carries its own risk classification set by the manager.
Cashku also said it is adding funds available under the Employees Provident Fund’s Members Investment Scheme, which gives eligible EPF members a wider choice. Cashku’s planning engine can apply an investor’s Shariah preference across the whole plan.
Shariah-compliant products matter in Malaysia, where Islamic products make up 64 percent of the MYR4.3 trillion ($1,054 billion) capital market, according to the SC.
The company said investors can complete a risk profiling assessment before investing. Its AI tools can help licensed financial advisers prepare recommended portfolios, and that each recommendation is reviewed and provided by a licensed adviser.
Raevendren Ramachandran, CEO of Cashku, said personalized, regulated advice should not depend on how much a person has to invest. Mohammad Fariz bin Ahmad Shamsuddin, CEO of KAF Investment Funds Berhad, said partnering with a licensed digital platform makes KAF’s funds accessible to a broader range of investors.
