Cashku, a Malaysian digital wealth platform that describes itself as AI-native, has partnered with fund management Muamalat Invest to widen its range of Shariah-compliant investment products.
In a statement on Thursday, Cashky said the cooperation will provide more products. They include money market instruments, sukuk (Islamic bonds), Malaysian and global equities, gold, and Shariah-compliant private credit. Cashku said eligible investors can access them through a single digital platform, with no sales charges.
The products are split between retail and wholesale funds. Retail funds are open to eligible Cashku users. Wholesale funds, including the private credit product, are open only to investors who meet the SC’s criteria for sophisticated investors. Cashku can assess eligibility and suitability for each investor during onboarding.
Cashku cited the SC’s Annual Report 2025, which reports that Malaysia’s Islamic capital market grew 4.31 percent to MYR2.7 trillion ($660 billion) in 2025. Cashku said that represents about 63 percent of the total domestic capital market.
Islamic assets under management rose 11.35 percent year on year to MYR274.01 billion, outpacing a 6.9 percent gain for the overall fund-management industry, Cashku added.
Faridah Abdullah, COO of Cashku, said Shariah-compliant investing is an established part of Malaysia’s investment landscape. The partnership aims to make it more accessible and convenient, the executive added.
Khadijah Sairah Ibrahim, CEO of Muamalat Invest, said the products are built on Shariah principles and aim to deliver sustainable value with attention to ethical and social considerations.
