Singapore-headquartered customer-experience software company Toku has begun onboarding its platform onto Core42’s Sovereign Enabled Public Cloud in the United Arab Emirates under an agreement with the G42 company.
Toku said the deployment is intended to support government bodies and regulated enterprises that require in-country infrastructure and stronger controls over where customer and operational data is processed.

Core42’s sovereign cloud combines Microsoft Azure infrastructure hosted in the UAE with sovereign controls, governance and compliance-monitoring capabilities. Toku said this gives it an infrastructure base for customers that need data to remain within the country.
The company is drawing on its experience delivering a large-scale contact center for Singapore’s Inland Revenue Authority, where AI transcription and summarization support agents and supervisors. Toku is positioning that operating experience as relevant to public-sector and regulated organizations in the UAE.
Middle East footprint expands
Toku said its Middle East coverage has grown from two to eight markets since December 2025. The company established a UAE subsidiary and announced an Arabic-language AI partnership with SESTEK in September, and said it is participating in several public-sector tenders with regional partners.
Founder and CEO Thomas Laboulle said the Core42 agreement is intended to let public-sector and regulated customers adopt Toku’s platform without compromising data-location requirements.
