Singapore-headquartered port operator PSA International (PSA), and Granite Asia, a $11 billion private capital platform, announced Wednesday the launch of the $50 million G&P Strategic Innovation Fund.

This launch comes as rapid advances in AI, robotics and automation create new ways to move goods globally, according to a joint statement.

Leveraging PSA’s global operating footprint and deep operational expertise, together with Granite Asia’s technology investment experience, the fund is designed to help promising technologies move beyond pilots into practical, scalable adoption across complex trade ecosystems.

The fund will co-invest with Granite Asia’s existing funds in technology companies developing solutions for ports, logistics and global supply chains.

The fund forms part of a broader strategic partnership between PSA and Granite Asia spanning technology insights, venture engagement, talent development and innovation partnerships. It reinforces PSA’s broader AI strategy and its focus on operational excellence, customer solutions, trusted data foundations, enterprise productivity and sustainable outcomes across its global network of port ecosystems.

Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO of PSA International, said, “Innovation, automation and artificial intelligence are increasingly becoming critical differentiators in global supply chains. Our partnership with Granite Asia reflects PSA’s continued commitment to innovation, strengthening operational excellence at each node and enabling us to connect our port ecosystems more effectively.”

Jixun Foo, Senior Managing Partner at Granite Asia, said, “The G&P Strategic Innovation Fund brings together Granite Asia’s technology investment platform with PSA’s global operational scale and supply chain know-how. We see a powerful opportunity to identify and support the next generation of entrepreneurs whose solutions can deliver real-world impact for ports, logistics and global trade.”
