Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise-AI services startup founded by former Infosys chief executive Vishal Sikka, has raised an additional $53 million led by Singapore-based Xora Innovation, a Temasek-backed fund.

In a statement on Wednesday, Hang Ten said the move increased its total funding to $85 million, just months after launch. The financing is a second seed round, closing about five weeks after a $32 million first round led by Mayfield. Mayfield and Aramco Ventures returned for the new round.

Individual backers include Intel chief executive Lip-Bu Tan, Micron chief executive Sanjay Mehrotra and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang; Yang has joined the board.

Menlo Park-based Hang Ten provides advisory, transformation, and applied-AI services to large companies. It utilizes AI agents to generate code alongside a reusable “skills” library and domain experts. It positions itself as a faster, cheaper alternative to traditional IT systems integrators.

The company will use the money to expand delivery capacity and its engineering and consulting teams.

Phil Inagaki, managing partner at Xora, said the main bottleneck in enterprise AI was implementation. The fund sees strong demand in Singapore and across the region. Sikka said the Temasek-backed investment can open doors to Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Sikka, a former chief technology officer at SAP, also founded another AI startup, Vianai Systems, which has raised more than $190 million.
