Located at Multi-Purpose Tower, Kuala Lumpur, the new 38,000 sq ft facility represents an investment of more than MYR 20 million and reflects Delivery Hero’s continued confidence in Malaysia as a strategic base for its regional operations.

Purpose-built to support collaboration, innovation and future ways of working, the new office provides an environment that enables MYSSC to continue delivering operational excellence while enhancing customer experience across the region.

While foodpanda Malaysia serves consumers, merchants and delivery partners locally, MYSSC provides the specialzsed operational capabilities that support both the local and wider Delivery Hero businesses, the firm said.

It also noted that over the years, MYSSC has evolved to support increasingly specialized functions across customer experience, process excellence, technology, finance and people operations.

“Malaysia has become an increasingly important part of Delivery Hero’s regional service operations, not only because of its strategic location, but also because of its highly skilled, multilingual workforce and strong digital ecosystem。

“These strengths enable us to support multiple markets from a single location while continuing to raise the bar for operational excellence across the region,” said Tareq Barto, Chief Executive Officer of foodpanda, foodora and Yemeksepeti.

According to him, the investment reflects the firm’s long-term confidence in Malaysia and in the talent that powers its business.

“As MYSSC continues to evolve, we are creating more opportunities for Malaysians to take on specialized roles with regional exposure, equipping them with the skills and experience to support our businesses across multiple international markets while building meaningful careers within a global organization,” he added.

Delivery Hero said it is also building future-ready capabilities by leveraging technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to automate routine tasks, so that employees can focus on more specialized work, solve increasingly complex business challenges and deliver greater value across regional operations.

The company aims for approximately 80 percent of MYSSC’s workforce to comprise Malaysians by 2027, reflecting its long-term commitment to developing local talent for high-value regional roles.

Having MYSSC’s regional capabilities based in Malaysia enables us to respond faster, collaborate more effectively and continuously improve the experience we deliver every day. As our business continues to evolve, so do our people,

“Seeing our teams embrace new technologies, continuously learn and take on more specialized work gives me great confidence in what we can achieve together,” said Kenneth Soh, Managing Director of foodpanda Malaysia.

As MYSSC continues to evolve, Delivery Hero said it remains committed to the people, capabilities and technologies that will shape the future of its business.

Ultimately, these investments are aimed at delivering even better experiences for customers, merchants and delivery partners, it added.
