Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Singapore-headquartered technology company for AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure listed on Nasdaq, has broken ground on anadvanced electronics manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada, investing $36 million in the plant, equipment, and construction.

In a statement on Thursday, Bitdeer said the 187,000-square-foot facility is its first domestic manufacturing and assembly footprint in the United States. The factory can complement its existing data centers and innovation hub in San Jose, California.

Slated for completion by the end of 2026, the plant can produce 10,000 units of Bitdeer’s SEALMINER computing hardware each month and create 70 local jobs spanning engineering, skilled technician, and support roles.

Paul Hanson, Chairman of Bitdeer Industrial, said the facility reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen supply chain resilience while being closer and more responsive to onshore customers. Producing advanced computing hardware in Nevada reflects a long-term commitment to building capacity and nurturing talent to support growing digital infrastructure operations in the United States, the executive added.

Bitdeer has global headquarters in Singapore and US headquarters in San Jose, operating advanced computing and technology centers across the United States, Norway, Bhutan, and Ethiopia.
