Nasdaq-listed Polibeli Group Ltd, an Indonesia-headquartered digital supply chain company, plans to establish a preliminary framework for evaluating a potential artificial intelligence (AI) computing center in Thailand.
Polibeli signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Thailand-based Authaikam Company Limited for the move in June, according to a statement on Thursday of the Indonesian firm.
Under the MOU, the parties plan to cooperate on preliminary evaluation activities including information exchange, site visits, land and power assessments, due diligence, and project development discussions. The contemplated project may involve a planned power capacity of up to approximately 100 MW.
The project remains at a preliminary evaluation stage and Polibeli Group has not made any decision to proceed or commit capital investment. Any future project remains subject to satisfactory due diligence, commercial and technical feasibility, internal approvals, financing availability, regulatory approvals, and the execution of definitive agreements.
