The Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), Vietnam’s venture capital firm Touchstone Partners, and Singapore’s Temasek Foundation will jointly support Vietnam’s green transition and sustainable growth.
In a statement last Friday, Temasek Foundation said the three sides signed an agreement for the move. The agreement was signed at the Vietnam–Singapore Tech Connect Forum, on the sidelines of Vietnamese General Secretary-President To Lam’s recent state visit to Singapore.
Priority cooperation includes green economy development, capital mobilization, ecosystem development for enterprises deploying climate solutions in Vietnam, and international knowledge exchange and technology transfer.
The first initiative is the Net Zero Challenge 2026, launching in July 2026. Now in its fourth edition, the annual program was initiated by Touchstone Partners and Temasek Foundation in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies in 2023. Across its first three editions, the program attracted 1,500 climate innovation solutions, mobilized catalytic funding, and supported innovative startups in developing and applying climate technology in Vietnam.
Khanh Tran, Managing Partner of Touchstone Partners, said the collaboration reinforces the venture capital firm’s investment thesis that climate solutions made in Vietnam can generate sustainable commercial returns alongside meaningful emissions reductions.
Jennie Chua, Chairperson at Temasek Foundation, highlighted the partnership reflects a shared commitment to accelerating innovative and scalable solutions for a more sustainable and resilient future across Asia.
