Google Cloud has launched a new cross-border accelerator program, in order to connect 25 Southeast Asian AI startups with technology and investment hubs in California, offering each selected founder up to $350,000 in cloud credits.

In a statement on Monday, Google Cloud said the three-month program has opened for applications, with the cohort commencing in August 2026.

The Google for Startups Accelerator: Southeast Asia was launched in partnership with government agencies from Southeast Asia, including Enterprise Singapore, Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, and Vietnam’s National Innovation Center (NIC), and Vietnam’s Startup and Innovation Hub of Ho Chi Minh City (SIHUB). Google Cloud provides tailored support for startups from their respective countries.

Participating startups will also receive early access to Google’s latest AI models including Gemini 3.5, and hands-on technical training in agentic coding, AI context engineering, and multi-agent systems.

The initiative builds on Google for Startups’ track record in the region. Since 2018, its accelerator programs have supported more than 200 early-stage Southeast Asian startups, helping them raise a combined $6.6 billion in funding and create 11,300 jobs.

Sami Kizilbash, Head of Developer Ecosystems for Asia Pacific at Google Cloud, said the program is designed to bridge the gap between product-market fit and international expansion — a challenge frequently cited by founders in the region.

The program targets seed to Series B AI startups across six countries, with a demo day and startup summit in Singapore to close the cohort.
