Level3AI, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI)-native company, announced Thursday it has raised $13 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed, with participation from BEENEXT, 500 Global, Sovereign’s Capital, and Goodwater Capital.

The firm said in a statement that the funding will accelerate the company’s ambition to become Asia Pacific (APAC)’s most trusted partner for enterprises seeking to transform customer engagement through AI.

The capital will be used by Level3AI for continued research and development (R&D) investment and market expansion across APAC.

“The previous generation of chatbots simply can’t deliver the quality that enterprises need,

“With recent advancements in AI, we saw an opportunity to elevate customer experience at scale. We don’t sell AI software; we sell guaranteed customer experience outcomes. That’s how we ensure quality, not just promise it,” said Dr. Harry Yu, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Level3AI.

According to the statement, Level3AI’s strong traction across APAC validates both its technology and the scale of the market opportunity.

With new funding in place to accelerate expansion, the company is optimistic about the road ahead.

“Having proven the model, now is the right time to scale — market demand and AI capabilities have reached a clear inflection point,

“We are laser-focused on becoming the most trusted, go-to partner for APAC enterprises looking to transform their customer engagement through AI,” Yu added.

Founded in July 2024, Level3AI builds enterprise-grade AI agents for full-cycle customer engagement via voice, email, and chat.

Unlike earlier generations of chatbots, which often fall short on complex tasks, Level3AI’s agents combine advanced language models with deep system integration and carefully
translated operational playbooks to deliver reliable, human-quality interactions at scale.

The firm differentiates itself by guaranteeing performance metrics such as customer satisfaction scores or conversion rates.

It backs this with a full refund if the agreed metrics are not met.

This commitment reflects confidence in its proprietary “Deterministic Backbone” AI architecture.

What sets it apart is that all critical flow control, state management, and decision boundaries are deterministic, with AI invoked only where human-like judgement is required,
ensuring consistent, auditable, and reliable outcomes at scale.

The business has been profitably bootstrapped over the past 18 months, servicing leading APAC brands including GetGo, Carousell, Yuu Rewards, and Carsome.

Level3AI’s agents have powered 10+ million interactions for 1+ million end consumers.

The firm’s platform has also been optimized for APAC’s linguistic and cultural diversity, from gender-appropriate forms of address in Malaysia to seamless multilingual code-switching in markets such as Hong Kong.

The platform is system-agnostic, integrating smoothly with existing customer relationship managements (CRMs), ticketing platforms, telephony and internal tools, enabling organizations to deploy Level3AI quickly into their technology stacks without disrupting workflows or replacing legacy systems.

“Level3AI has built one of the most impressive AI agents we’ve seen, delivering human-level customer experiences at enterprise scale,

“We believe the company is well positioned to transform customer engagement for enterprises across Asia-Pacific, and we are excited to support its journey toward becoming a category-defining company in the region,” said Pinn Lawjindakul, Partner at Lightspeed.
