The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) announced on Wednesday their partnership with five new platform partners to strengthen its suite of digital offerings and expand its capability to deliver technology-enabled transformation across global financial ecosystems.

Building on its foundational platforms – APIX for innovation sandboxes, and Gprnt for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure – GFTN said in a statement that it is broadening its partnerships to include platforms that enhance digital infrastructure, upskilling on emerging technologies, inclusive payment systems, financial inclusion, and policy development.

The newly onboarded partners include Finternet, Linux Foundation, Mojaloop Foundation, RegGenome and Universal Pensions (formerly pinBox).

Finternet is a universal digital infrastructure that interconnects financial ecosystems.

The Linux Foundation is for open-source technology advancement and upskilling on emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud and FDC3, the key interoperability standard for the financial industry.

Mojaloop Foundation is supporting Mojaloop open-source software that empowers organizations to create inclusive instant payment systems (IIPS) and advance financial inclusion worldwide.

RegGenome is for AI-enabled policy analytics to accelerate policy development and increase the efficiency of digital compliance and supervision.

Universal Pensions is for PensionTech that helps countries build inclusive digital micro-pension systems for self-employed women and youth.

“This expansion reflects GFTN’s commitment to go beyond traditional advisory, combining strategy, technology, and execution to deliver impact at scale,

“By leveraging our partners’ technology infrastructures and solution ecosystems, we aim to catalyze financial inclusion, resilience, and sustainability across global markets,” said Sopnendu Mohanty, Group Chief Executive Officer, GFTN.

Meanwhile, Siddharth Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of Finternet, said the strategic partnership between GFTN and Finternet merges global financial expertise with technological innovation, unlocking new pathways for secure, seamless, and inclusive digital asset exchange across borders.

Clyde Seepersad, Senior Vice President, General Manager Education of Linux Foundation, also said as open source expands from powering global financial infrastructure to driving innovation across the financial industry, it is essential executives understand its importance.

Paula Hunter, Executive Director, Mojaloop, said by partnering with GFTN, they are aligning themselves with a like-minded organization focused on making digital financial services accessible to everyone.

“This collaboration will help strengthen the ecosystem for real-time payments, enabling more countries to drive financial inclusion and creating the conditions for inclusive instant payment systems to thrive,

“Partnering with GFTN is a natural next step in advancing our shared mission,” he added.

Bob Wardrop, Executive Chairman & Founder of RegGenome, also said that combining GFTN’s presence with RegGenome’s best-in-class policy analytics offers public sector bodies the opportunity to respond to a constantly evolving environment with accelerated policy development and more efficient compliance and supervision.

Parul Seth Khanna, Co-Founder and Director of Universal Pensions, said GFTN’s ability to convene governments, financial institutions, and technology innovators around shared digital infrastructure and inclusion creates a unique opportunity to accelerate real impact.

“This partnership strengthens our mission to help countries build inclusive and affordable digital pension systems for self-employed women and youth — transforming the looming old-age poverty crisis into long-term financial resilience and domestic capital formation,” she added.
