Singaporean multinational telecommunications conglomerate StarHub and American technology company F5 have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance multi cloud security, networking, and digital experiences for enterprises in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region.

The duo said in a statement that this partnership underscores a shared commitment to helping businesses navigate the complexities of multi cloud environments while ensuring security, performance, and operational efficiency.

The five-year MoU provides a strategic framework for collaboration between StarHub and F5, focusing on co-developing solutions that enhance cybersecurity, cloud networking, and digital experiences for enterprises.

Under this partnership, StarHub will bolster its Cloud Infinity program, leveraging F5’s cutting-edge cloud-based application security and delivery solutions.

This partnership comes at a crucial time when organizations in Singapore and across the globe are increasingly adopting hybrid and multi cloud strategies but struggling with fragmented security, operational complexity, and compliance challenges across diverse environments.

Together, StarHub and F5 will facilitate integrated security solutions that provide seamless, secure connectivity for applications across multiple environments, addressing the growing need for consistent protection without compromising operational efficiency.

Through this agreement, F5 Distributed Cloud Services will be integrated into StarHub’s Cloud Infinity program, enabling optimized application delivery, advanced traffic management, and comprehensive security to support StarHub’s multi cloud ecosystem.

The collaboration will extend F5’s expertise in simplifying cloud workload management and enhancing application security to enterprises throughout Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region, helping organizations effectively manage increasingly complex hybrid and multi cloud environments.

Key areas of focus for the partnership include strengthening multi cloud networking by expanding secure and seamless connectivity across different public clouds while optimizing application and network performance.

They also include enhancing security and observability by improving visibility across digital infrastructure and strengthening cybersecurity measures to safeguard businesses from emerging threats; simplifying cloud operations by helping enterprises manage workloads efficiently across hybrid and multi cloud environments by streamlining security, application delivery, and traffic management; supporting digital transformation by addressing the increasing complexity of modern information technology (IT) environments by providing integrated application delivery and security across clouds that accelerate enterprise innovation.

By optimizing traffic, securing applications and APIs, and enhancing multi cloud operations, F5 empowers StarHub to deliver a seamless, high-performance, and secure cloud experience for its customers.

This strategic partnership supports the F5 application delivery and security platform, reducing complexity while enhancing security and performance for enterprises managing applications across multiple cloud and on-premises environments.
