Revenue Group Berhad, a provider of cashless payment solutions based in Malaysia, has announced the official appointment of Revenue Solution Sdn Bhd, a wholly- owned indirect subsidiary company of REVENUE, as an acquirer for WeixinPay in Malaysia.
This strategic partnership strengthens REVENUE’s positionas a key player in the digital payment ecosystem, empowering merchants to accept seamless cross-border and domestic transactions through one of the world’s most widely used e-wallets denominated in RMB, Revenue said in a statement on Monday.
Weixin Pay, operated by Tencent, is a preferred payment method for hundreds of millions globally, especially among Chinese tourists and businesses.
With REVENUE as an acquirer, merchants across Malaysia can now expand their payment acceptance, providing another secure and convenient payment options to their customers.

By integrating Weixin Pay into its comprehensive suite of payment solutions, REVENUE said the firm is set to further enhance e-wallet acceptance across key sectors, including retail, hospitality, food and beverage (F&B), and tourism.
Among the key merchants that will benefit from this partnership are Food Republic and Food Place, both well-established F&B brand known for offering diverse culinary experiences.
With Weixin Pay acceptance, these merchants can now provide seamless digital payment options to its customers, enhancing convenience for both locals and international visitors.
Established in 2003, Revenue serves a wide spectrum of customers, including banks, non-bank financial institutions, physical and online merchants, and e-money payment schemes.
The firm offers services ranging from payment processing to point-of-sale systems and e-wallet integrations.
Weixin Pay is a mobile payment solution integrated into Weixin, China’s leading communication platform.
The mobile payment solution supports overseas payment for outbound Chinese travellers, which benefits local economies.
Weixin Pay has expanded its coverage to 74 countries and regions worldwide and boasts over 1,000 overseas partners, connecting more than 6 million international merchants.
