Animoca Brands Japan, a strategic subsidiary of global Web3 company Animoca Brands, will be commencing full-scale efforts to support the global expansion of Japan’s web3 gaming sector, starting with a partnership with Japanese gaming app Drecom Corporation.

Animoca Brands said in a statement on Friday that the duo have reached an agreement to focus their efforts on the overseas expansion of various titles featuring well-known IPs, and to explore initiatives that will facilitate cooperation between Drecom’s license of the Wizardry IP and the ecosystem being constructed worldwide by Animoca Brands, with a particular emphasis on the blockchain game Eternal Crypt – Wizardry BC -.

Moving forward, Animoca Brands Japan is committed to contributing to the gaming industry and to supporting web3 ventures and project activation across diverse industries.

Drecom is a gaming firm distinguished for its development of popular game apps including titles such as ONE PIECE Treasure Cruise and Everybody’s Golf.
